AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES

Las oraciones afirmativas de este tiempo verbal al igual que las demás requieren de un S un V y un C. que significa sujeto verbo y complemento.

The Affirmative sentences of this verbal time, just like the others, require of an S a V and a C. That means subject, verb and complement.

Antes de empezar a hacer oraciones a la loca, debes saber que a las TERCERAS PERSONAS las afecta una regla en específico.

Before we start to make sentences like we were crazy, you must know that THIRD PERSON is affected by a specific rule.

TODAS LAS TERCERAS PERSONAS EN PRESENTE SIMPLE MODIFICAN AL VERBO Y LE AGREGAN UNA (S- ES – IES) DEPENDIENDO DEL VERBO.

THE ENTIRE THIRD PERSON IN SIMPLE PRESENT MODIFIES THE VERB AND THEY ADD IT AN (S – ES - IES) DEPENDING ON THE VERB.

LA REGLA ES MUY FACIL

THE RULE IS VERY SIMPLE

Si el verbo termina en Consonante + Y, quitamos la Y y le agregamos IES

If the verb finishes with a Consonant + Y, we remove the Y and we add IES

FOR EXAMPLE:

STUDY    STUDIES

CRY        CRIES

Si el verbo termina en vocal más Y, solo le agregamos S.

If the verb finishes in vowel + Y, we just add an S.

FOR EXAMPLE:

PLAY    PLAYS

BUY      BUYS

Si el verbo termina en CH – SS – SH - X - Z Agregamos ES

If the verb finishes with CH – SS – SH - X - Z  we add ES

Claro que hay algunas excepciones, como el GO  = GOES, el DO = DOES, HAVE = HAS entre otros.

Of course there are other exceptions, like the GO = GOES, the DO = DOES, HAVE = HAS between others.

Y listo, después de entender esto podemos crear oraciones en presente simple con verbos diferentes al TO BE.

And that’s it; after we understand this we can create sentences in simple present with verbs different of the verb TO BE.

Solamente le agregamos complementos, y listo.

We just add some complements and it’s done.

FOR EXAMPLE:

I           play     dance              run      open    close    catch               kiss

You      play     dance              run      open    close    catch               kiss

He       plays    dances            runs     opens  closes  catches           kisses

She      plays    dances            runs     opens  closes  catches           kisses

It          plays    dances            runs     opens  closes  catches           kisses

We      play     dance              run      open    close    catch               kiss

They    play     dance              run      open    close    catch               kiss

Y a cualquiera de estos casos podemos agregarle diferentes complementos

And to any of these examples we can add different complements.

I play in the park

I dance in the disco

I run in the stadium

I open the window

I close the door

I catch the ball

I kiss my girlfriend

He plays in the park

He dances in the disco

He runs in the stadium

He opens the window

He closes the door

He catches the ball

He kisses my girlfriend

You play in the park

You dance in the disco

Y listo pelaos, de aquí en adelante solo tienen que cambiar todos los sujetos, los verbos y los complementos como quieran, teniendo en cuenta las conjugaciones para hacer millones de oraciones.

And it’s done, from here on, just change every subject and every verb and complements as you want, having into account all the conjugations to create millions of sentences.
